Love your writing style—lots of fun banter and witty narration. The scenes are well paced, the art is hella cute, and the character dynamics so far have me vry excited for some found family type spacecrew drama. (Getting The Expanse vibes from this, and I love those books to death!)
I'm usually not too interested in RPG-lite or non-kinetic visual novels, but this one I'll definitely keep my eyes on. Great first build!
Edit: One suggestion; I think an option to show the -+'s to character mood as it changes in script might prevent some frustration. As someone who'll always pick the funny and obviously negative roleplay decisions first, it's nice to know when said choice has numerical consequences attached, rather than it just being flavor.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying your time with Void Dreaming and I'm doubly glad you're enjoying the dialogue. Honestly, I feel like character writing and dialogue is one of the harder things for me to nail down, so it's been so gratifying to hear people connecting with the characters! I'm even more glad that you're having a great time even without this being your preferred kinda VN!
I do like where you're coming from with the idea of seeing in advance what options are going to do for a character, but there's two reasons why I didn't go with that. The first is because Void Dreaming is designed to be replayable, with a lot of variation in how you can approach things each time! And the second is because leaving it ambiguous makes it feel more impactful every time you get to make a choice, which is integral to the feel I was going for with the story. I won't go so far as to say you're wrong, just that it doesn't work for what I'm going for. I dig the suggestion, and I'm always open to more!
Thanks so much again, and I hope I can continue to entertain you!
