Thank you so much, Mechasauras! It's only going to (hopefully) get better from Day 1 for you; I hope that I continue to maintain your confidence and enjoyment moving forward!

Just wanted to check in to make sure I hadn't missed it, but this was actually fixed in a later update! Your version, in your log, is 0.04.01, and the public build is now up to 0.04.04 (and 0.04.05 is coming before Day 5!). So all you need to do is download the latest update and that one is fixed already!
Sorry again for the inconvenience; Void Dreaming has more moving parts than a lot of VNs, I think; keeping them all working right is a constant struggle!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you hold my work in such high esteem.
Please don't feel obligated to support the Patreon if your circumstances don't allow it because of stuff like that. I absolutely don't begrudge you that! I'm still looking into options for translation because Void Dreaming is a pretty massive project and the idea of people translating it for free turns my stomach; I'm uniquely qualified to know how big a task that would be! It's a most generous offer though, and if circumstances change I'll definitely keep you in mind. I'd love to have Void Dreaming available for more people to enjoy as comfortably as possible!
You've definitely got a good idea about getting in touch, and it's something I'm going to definitely be looking into once I have the time, the energy, and the clarity of focus to do so. Getting control of the situation there would definitely be the most optimal outcome I can see, at the least.
As I said in the post itself, as much as I appreciate your want to support the project, I definitely don't want people putting themselves out for it. I know from experience how difficult and pricey an international move can be, and I wouldn't begrudge you using what all funds you have to prepare for that. I do wish you all the best with your move, and I hope you're able to get to where you want to go. Please don't feel bad in any capacity for not being able to support Void Dreaming while working on something so life-changing.
And thank you very much for the kind words and considered idea. I'm immensely grateful for both!
It could be worse, certainly, but I had to make sure I put my voice out there and made my feelings on the matter known. It's unfortunately something I have very little control over, but the reception from the readership to this whole mess has been incredibly encouraging. That I have that much trust and respect from the Void Dreaming readers is so humbling, and so heartwarming, and I'm beyond grateful for their, and your, support.
First, thank you for the Patreon support! It really does mean the world to me.
The structure of the Patreon updates is pretty much the same as the public ones; Days are cut in two (it gives more testing time that way) and the second part of the Day comes out at the same time as the full previous Day on Itch. Exclusive short stories fill the gaps between actual updates to the VN. Because that means all of the characters get additions together, it's not something I could further portion down without upsetting a lot of people, and I really don't want to do that, heh.
Thank you kindly for the thoughts and the positive words! I'll see what all I can implement in that regards!
I felt that it was more important to address the situation than to just keep quiet about it. This project is too important to me to not be open and honest about my thoughts regarding the matter. While it's possible that letting people know it's out there is going to be harmful to the project, it's also my only way to make my case for why I'd prefer people not to go that route.
Transparency is important to me with this project, since people are putting money in my hands to make it. I want to make sure everyone who enjoys Void Dreaming is aware of everything I'm doing, and that does include addressing matters like this.
I'm grateful for your thoughts, though, and thank you for sharing them!
Most kind of you to say! I want to make sure that everyone's getting the quality of work that I want to present. The last major update was too full of issues for me to do anything less than work myself as hard as possible to get it fixed. Goodness knows I want this to be as good as it can be!
If you jump over onto the Patreon, I'd be very grateful! Please don't put yourself out, though. I don't want anyone spending money on my work that they need otherwise, and I know everyone's doing it tough right now!
Thank you so much; that's so wonderful to hear! It's great to know you're enjoying Caleia, and trust me when I say there's a lot of fans of her in the same boat as you over on the Discord! Also glad to hear you were able to get in a bit better with her in the process; she can be prickly, but fun once you get to know her, as you doubtless found out!
And thank you so much for the Patreon support; there's a lot to love over there too, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I'm doing with the project
Thanks so much for the kind words, Eirnym! It's always wonderful to hear that people are having a good time with the project, and doubly so when their expectations are met and exceeded. Here's hoping I can keep doing that, if only to better justify your praising it to other people!
There's a lot to see and do even with just what's already released, so I hope you have fun exploring the different options you have. Knowing that people are enjoying them just makes that challenge all the more worthwhile!
Thank you so much for the very high praise, JooSZ! I admit that I always feel like my character writing isn't my strongest point, so it's always lovely to hear that people think I nailed it! I'm also lucky to have some fantastic artists working with me to help bring it to life, and I'm sure they appreciate your kindness as well. And don't worry about the OST; while it's all royalty-free stuff for the moment, my hope is that the project does well enough to justify sourcing some bespoke music for the project. Unless you don't dig ambient tracks, I'm sure that number will go up too in time!
Thanks again for the kindness, and I hope you continue to enjoy Void Dreaming!
I wish that I could, but I clearly cannot. There's work to do, and if I don't do it, who will? Still, you're not wrong; I'm definitely trying to take more time for myself, but every minute I do that is a minute I'm not working on Void Dreaming, so there has to be a balance somewhere. Hopefully I find it soon!
Thank you so much, Cad; it's very kind of you to say! I've been waiting to see people's reactions to Day 4 since before I started writing it, so I'm very glad to hear that you've enjoyed it!
Please continue to let the hate flow through you... or just jump onto the Patreon and grab Day 5 now! *nudge nudge tips salesperson hat*
There's no real walkthrough to be given! There's no routes for the different characters if you want to romance them; just spend time with them naturally and you'll discover what they're all about. There are ways to get in real good with some characters much earlier, but they require a lot of specific effort... as they should to get in their pants so fast!
Long story short: there's no romance routes, so take your time and enjoy their company!
