The intro is meant to become something more, the player should be able to care for the egg for to gain extra gimmick at the beginning.
The music will change sooner or later for something I created, yes it's currently quiet.
You are right about the darkness, it bother me a little too. I got two explanation:
The night may become more of a suspense/omnious environment.
And The way I make this game "based on the real world along my learning".
That means I cannot model a fence if I do not integrate a tree in the game.
It is a soft rule, otherwise I'll never go forward with this project.
in the case of darkness I'm not happy with my particle effect for lamptorch, so I'm still working on it!

The little demon is Jawmon, he is friendly and will come hang out with you every 30 minutes for 30 minutes (he is a proof of concept of the event system).
the egg give "energy" it is a currently debug feature for gametime, in the world there is berry bushes and cattails that grow and regrow for the rabbit to eat. that give more energy. the berry bushes take around 120 second to grow then grow 3 berries every 25 to 45 seconds.
The real-time light is kinda bugged but it work overall glad that you seen it a little in action!
The map hole is because I did not coded a respawn, I should get on that.
It not my best camera work, sorry for that I'm not sure the way I want to go with this, so I stalled.
Yeah the pink cat unlock the double jump for you, It should help to get all the gems, it should also open new area of the game in the long run.

the white platform fall after you stand on it for 2 sec. this is for helping me making level design in the future.
A pink rabbit you say? have you played on a Tuesday? The color of the rabbit change depending on the day of the week you start the game. My save system is broken and I'll change it soon to better save everything.
