nice to see people jamming on flickgame!

any feature requests/etc, let me know - I'm working on it the next few days - already ironed out some bugs about touch input today that are live.  working on adding colour-palette selection as we speak...

Hey increpare!

No feature request from us, just wanted thank you for your nice work on this, we've been having a ton of fun sharing little worlds made in Flickgame.

Oh, hey! :) Glad ye like it <3

I'm not sure if I missed something (read the manual a couple of times!) But would it be possible to add a hotkey / tool / modifier so that when pressed and I click a colour, it takes me to the associated frame if one is set?

i actually have that in one of the variants - my only reason to not have it is that it doesn't feel that necessary - exporting+trying isn't so hard. But...hmm- i've made an issue and will mull it over! ( hand tool to test links? · Issue #60 · increpare/flickgame )

I'm so excited to hear you are working on Flickgame! I am incredibly excited to see palette selection getting added. I didn't think my hyperfixaction on flickgame would lead to so much happening around it.

I was thinking it'd be nice to have the option for a bigger canvas size? Aside from that, the ability to change the palette was my only other idea of Flickgame.

hi! glad to see people've been using it.  resolution change unlikely for design reasons (pixel hunting/minesweeping for linkable pixels is a risk of flickgame, and at high resolution becomes a much more potentially unpleasant scenario!)

increpare, while you’re here, i owe you a thanks and a hat tip. your games motivated me to make my own in… 2012-13? so… thank you. seriously.

having so much fun on the jam this week. i’d gotten used to the original palette, but that grayscale looks inviting.

You're very welcome - thanks for the nice message :)

I don’t have much to say about feature request now that color palette is live… the beauty of Flickgame is how small and inherently limiting it is. I’m afraid feature request would only add complexity. It’s such a fun tool you can do a lot with, and I’m excited to share it with kids and people that would otherwise be intimidated by the sheer notion of gamemaking. Thank you for your work on this!

yeah I'm normally very careful to keep things simple - even the background-colour selection I have mixed feelings about - I just found the default palette of flickgame a bit drab and was tired of it ^^
