I read the two hints (I'd figured out hint 1 before asking for a hint) and here's what I've come up with so far:

Also about the "you should wait 24 hours" thing: I suck at puzzles so I don't think I'll be able to do much more than what I've already done without looking up the solution, but I'll try to avoid hints and solutions anyway.

This might help you. I have highlighted everywhere you can walk without activating key. There are zero features to get you on a wall. What else can you do in this minuscule space? What fits?

Loving those edits as the realization sinks in. G really takes it up a notch. G-flower-flip is infamous. I gave some advice for that elsewhere in the thread.

And the author has another step-magic game called sea magic. It's easier IMO.
