Heyho!

We were planning our time in which we can work on the jam game and were confused by the deadline rule "You'll still be able to update your game up until the deadline of the game jam, even if you submit early, until 31.03.2025." What is meant by that? The voting is in the days after the deadline (17.03. ++), why would we update anything thats not made in the jam period? Does this just mean there is a grace period and it's locked forever at the end of the month?

That date is way beyond the winners announcement day. I can only imagine it was added there in an early draft, before the dates were decided on. A game jam organizer can't lock your game. Itch doesn't give that type of power to them.

Hey Tidali, thanks for your question! And thanks to you, WeslleyAl, for your response. You’re absolutely right—we’ve just fixed that error in our rules. It now reads:

"We recommend submitting early to avoid accidentally missing the deadline on Sunday, March 16th, at 7 PM. You can still update your game after submission, as your project page is independent of your submission."
