Just a little idea; there should be a freeplay option that's like a "creative mode" where the player doesn't have to eat, drink, sleep, or keep their sanity up. It would be good for players who prefer easy-going slow-paced gameplay.
In the meantime, asking/begging NPC's for food and to use their beds is way to subsist for free, as a leech. You can even make a game out of it if you prefer, by becoming friends with them first and moving in with them, or just straight offer "favors" for such (the merchant NPC will often jump at the chance to give you stuff for "favors"). For example, one of the characters I RP became the guard's squire, and so he let's me sleep in his bed and I get rations and equipment and pay for slaying enemies from him. Really as long as you can convince a character to do something, they probably have the power to do it. Just be mindful that sometimes they'll hallucinate functions that they are not capable of doing or that don't even exist in the game yet--one of my earliest bad experiences was being sent on a wild goose chase from NPC to NPC to get my items repaired, ther eis no item repair function in the game yet.
I am referring to Aldric specifically. Rosalyn seems to be a bit of a wildcard. Every playthrough she's entirely different for me. I've had runs where she immedietly asks me lewd stuff the first time I Talk to her, and some where she gets offended if I say anything lewd even if I got her relationship high.
