Decent game and I understand that he's ice so he's supposed to slide around a bit but because of how the side to side movement was coded it felt very unresponsive and unfair when you died. I get that maybe the movement was coded like that to be like you're on ice but it kind of comes at the cost of the sharp responsive platforming that most are used to.

that is because you are an ice. its like the main challenge of the game: speedrun with the bad movement. there is even a power up (the ice phoenix feather) that makes you move normally, as if it were a precision platformer, for only 20 seconds (a run lasts ~2 minutes).

if you still think its hard. it might just be a skill issue. but that can be fixed by replaying the game.
