That shouldn't stop the devs from making the game accessible to more people. Yeah the warning is there but making more people be able to play the game is a benefit to everyone

What's the point of a horror if it's not going to scare you?

In extreme cases, the centipede does not appear unless summoned. And summoning is not a mandatory procedure in the game. Spoiler, the cave is always open during the night and there are no centipedes there at that time.

I'm not sure how this is seemingly lost on you and everyone else arguing in the negative. Lethal Company has been rightly cited as one such example and there's a pretty famous, if dated, other horror game with a well-known arachnophobia mod: System Shock 2. And as stated in one 17-year old discussion thread for that:

This mod isn't for pussies who don't like spiders. They should just get over it. This mod is for people who have an abnormal fear of spiders and therefore cannot play the game."

I am in the former camp, but I can recognize the value in supporting the latter.

I'd rather the devs focus on creating new content instead of trying to appeal to .00000001% of the player population.  If they want to do that AFTER the game is fully released then go for it. There's only like 7 people working on this game, so you have to ask which is a bigger priority?
