I have some suggestions. The Demo Is Great! But, I would like it if Foxo's Ingame Wave Was Still Lipsynced. and I know its a demo, but it is kind of choppy.

the game is absolutely amazing but my only critisim (if you can even call it that),  but why isnt there any smoke when you throw the fire extinguisher?

its really cool for you to make us this demo! are you gonna make foxos appearence in chaos mode different when you start it? and are you gonna make the win screen? its a little bit hard because theres so much files that you need to put, but are you gonna do that? if yes, then im giving this demo a 5 stars and if no, still 5 stars. i just feel like the pause menu and the other things you're gonna fix to the game is gonna be awesome!  one  more  thing  .make the purple book do something. oh yeah and when you finish the game im playing it and trying it out. (even tho i already beat it im gonna do it again. by deleting my data, its ok if i do it, anything to try this game when it releases.) anyways i yapped too much so imma just stop.

...Only real criticism is that the demo is a bit too short for me to really conclude what things could possibly need improving.

The demo was really cool and fun!

A lot of decor was really neat to see and I like how it's matches the 90's style!

The game has become smoother to play and a lot of loading screens doesn't take a lot of time to load the game/scene.


But I think it would be cool if some textures that has alpha color had this dithered net or smth that changes the size by the screen resolution.

That can be achieved by a shader/shadergraph btw.


Anyways the demo was super and I can't wait for the full release!

Also I think it would be awesome if the door and plant textures were updated.

Also in my game some of the plants are being randomly chosen so I think it would be neat if there's was more plants variants!

Dude, EVERYTHING is updated and all the things are animated and more vibrant! I wonder what is to come in the next demo or full game...

i genuinely don't know what i could criticize about this LOL (you're way too good at this stuff nice i'm jealous)

except for the jittery bobbing animation for the collectables i talked about (which i mind less now) this is a huge upgrade over the original version, however i ran into a few noticeable bugs/oddities while playing 

  • the sensitivity option is completely broken; tried changing it and it made it super fast, the knob for it also seems to be really buggy and kept resetting itself when i reloaded the scene. not even setting my mouse speed to the lowest fixed this for me
  • the resolution options did this (my pc only goes up to 1920x1080 + it put the same one twice)
  • pretty sure you know by now but theres an odd transparent line at the top right of the settings menu
  • this has been an issue in some of your previous games too but the music tends to clip a lot, probably because of it being too loud when exported (this is pretty noticeable in the end screen song)
  • extremely nit-picky, butsimilar to YBBR, there's a slight antialiasing near the corners and edges of things which is noticeable when looking at a zoomed in screeenshot (this is barely noticeable so you dont have to do anything about it lmao)

again this looks really good and a huge step up from the legacy edition. can't wait for the finished version!!!

Thank you for the kind words and the criticism!! I’ll leave below what I can say for now:

  • The entire settings menu is jank LOL, not surprised there
  • The odd transparent line probably has to do with the way I’m handling transitions, I’ll see what I can do about it though!
  • I can lower the volume of the music next build
  • I’d love to fix the anti-aliasing issue cause it bothers me too!

The new content in this update is great! It gives me a completely different gameplay experience than 1.0a or 1.1. It would be perfect if some details were improved (for example: Foxo's teleporting mechanic is weird in this demo, it should be made more "fair", Foxo O's could have a sound effect when using it, just like the Zesty bar in BB+ 0.4)

I'm looking forward to the release of the full version 2.0, thanks to the developers for their hard work and dedication. Thank you for bringing us such a great game <3

What happened to the Foxo's bus "ending", the Melodica, and Fasco (hope I got the name right) being visible from the playground? I hope they come back in the full release of 2.0 along with other little secrets. Also a good QOL change would be allowing us to skip Foxo's angery cutscene to get to the rest of Normal mode right away. Otherwise I really like what you got so far and I look forward to 2.0!

The melodica is still in the game, and Nicec00lkidd said that the bus ending will come back for the 1.1 demo. I’m not sure about Fasco, but I assume he’ll come back.

Well, just fix all the bugs that everybody here mentioned and add and aliasing and anti-aliasing settings like in Baldi's Basics Plus and add controls settings for controller and pc. Still a really good demo, I like the part where Foxo looks behind to stare into your soul intensely before starting the real game and I like the ambience that comes with it, it makes the tension of the moment feel strong and I love it way too much for it to get removed.

Funny thing is that what you just mentioned about Foxo staring at you was present in Legacy 1.0, but... for some reason was absent in Legacy 1.1... and 1.2a.

Ok i'm gonna be honest, this is a good fangame, but there are some things i wish you can add back:

1. The bus ending: The bus ending was very easy, but i mean, it was actually a really good secret tho.

2. Boopin' Foxo: I remember that i discovered a secret we're pretty much, if you boop foxo's nose, it just plays a horn sfx, and it really reminded me of freddy fazbear a lil.

3. The blue room: The main menu will have two versions, One, the normal one, and Two, The blue room. (I also really liked the nice detail on how foxo's on his bed during the blue room.)

Nicec00lkidd, you were the first to enlighten me on the topic of Baldi's Basic and his fan games. Foxo's fun schoolhouse was the first Baldi fan game that I completed from start to finish. And I am very glad that you are doing a remake of this masterpiece!

And also, all the bugs that I saw have already been named. Good luck, I'll stay tuned for updates :)

MASSIVE fan of what's here right now but I'd be lying if I said I thought it was flawless

My main and biggest issue is that foxo's movement is FAR too sporadic. I get this was probably done to separate them from most other baldi mod antagonists but it leads to any and all strategy being all but useless because at any point he can just teleport to wherever the  hell. Just tone down the teleporting or have it as a hard mode and you're good. My other gripes come from admittedly petty pet peeves like the audio mixing being very odd or there being a massive lack of items but otherwise, it's still the brilliant baldi mod I know and I can't wait to see what it has in store

it would be really cool if you add more endings to floor 1 like in the classic version, also  it would be really cool if this happens in the new version too... amazing demo, take your time and surprise us!

Hi Nicec00l kid. I'm very sorry to say but the game ain't good. the one thing ruined everything. the HITBOXES of the ITEMS (that is the same in yin's birthday bash remastered. pls add debug mode (that shows item hitboxes ) or fix this stubid bug)

Also at the end of the game, pls add one reference to ur "nice catcher" game, and in the power of friendship, please PLEASE make yin have arms and legs just like in "yin's birthday bash reimagened" and also make yin ask basic math questions(or 8th class) which can be toggled in the menu once you beat da game

After the second comic is collected, Foxo is still in his normal sprite, and you can see him switching into the staring animation when you walk out of the classroom, idk but it just feels too apparent that way

hello ! welcome to whining about things that dont matter for 20 minutes

this review isn't really structured in any way, it's just a critique on various aspects of the game i'm not a fan of in no particular order; keep in mind these are just my opinion and im sharing them purely because i want the game to benefit from them :]

starting off, the games progression ! something with the original fangame i didnt really like was its progression, in particular:

  • grades hold barely any weight in the game, the only purpose they have is for unlocking the final level in story mode, and even at that they're pretty flawed. the only way to make your grades better or worse is simply to just die a bunch of times and to unlock said final level that's really cheap honestly
    •  going forward i think you should make grades based off how you actually *do* in a specific game mode. this covers all areas from the time it takes you to complete a level, how many items you used, how many attempts it took you to get to that point, or hell even mode specific requirements that would add onto your final grade. this would create a fun gameplay loop that i feel would be an overall positive for the player experience 
  • adding onto this, there's no real way to track your progress in the game outside of grades and such; for modes such as endless, burger stack and such i don't really see a good reason to play them as its just extra content that adds nothing to the game outside of a little more enjoyment. i feel to counteract this you could add some sort of visible progression like stars in beside mode icons in the story and extra modes respectively or even achievements for completing certain things within the game

i feel the biggest issue with ffs is its story, or lack of in this case. 

  • i get the game isn't supposed to take itself too seriously as its a baldi fangame, however there is no link between half of the things that happen within the overall game; in particular the secret chaos mode ending, STOP mode in general, camping mode and many more. and that kinda sucks! with this being a 3d 90s game set in an expansive schoolhouse you can traverse you have a lot of opportunity to throw in lore tidbits or just generally add more to the story throughout rather than the standard "ohhhh my god it ends in a scary bossfight i shat myself" that most fangames come to without any rhyme or reason
    • im not saying with this you have to make some massive overarching plot that takes over the gameplay itself, however throwing random shit at the player throughout half of the modes without any real good reason or explanation is kinda lame in my opinion; but don't take this as me slandering what you have going for the game currently!!!! you have a good base and you just needa expand on that to improve that aspect of the game

in terms of gameplay and the other games assets visually and musically i have 0 complaints, its just those areas that i have gripes with. overall this demo shows really big signs of improvement compared to the original game and i look forward to what you have in store going forward. 

good luck with the rest of the development, i cant wait to see the final product :D

  • We can definitely make grades do more in 2.0! We’ve been working towards a new system for them based on ideas the community has given us, so no more dying over and over again to lower your grades lol.
  • We’re adding a progress tracker and achievements to the game! Hopefully this helps :) I like the stars idea, maybe we could even put your current grade for that mode
  • We’ve been writing proper lore for this game since 2022!! I hope everything makes more sense but I can’t say much

I have a question, how much are the Extra modes going to change in 2.0 (if they are)? Not just in terms of gameplay and visuals but also story-wise because there's clearly some lore implications going on with some of those modes' endings.

Most of the extra modes are getting reworked just a little bit either for gameplay purposes or just to expand on them a little. Extra modes aren’t canon for the most part

Add back the fog effect with the fire extinguisher.


The fog effect made it more challenging (unless you're really familiar with the map) and it made more sense for Teacher Foxo to freak out over the stuff that's in the fire extinguisher rather than just from throwing it on the floor.

i have no criticism but i would like to suggest a few things

1. please make it so that you can have the option to choose if you want the good ending or bad ending when beating campaign mode.

2.add a few new items for example a bsoda or a projectile gun that can be shot at foxo to bounce him around for 10 seconds.

3.maybe a null bossfight when you hit the last exit on wrath?

maybe 1 or 2 mare levels to campaign or stop?

I like it! Just, one problem... my favorite secret is gone... On the main menu, you used to be able to click on Foxo's nose and shirt to get cute sounds, but now, it's gone... Other than that, I like the new stuff! There's a new model of Foxo, Foxo now looks around with arms like <> when you're still outside the schoolhouse, new flipping animation, new book animation, new warning screen, shadow under buttons and subtitle text, new settings menu, Foxo now does creepy look at you and forms something ??? in his hand and creepy music plays before Foxo chases you, Foxo can now teleport, a lot of new stuff!
