The deleted post was just someone saying they cannot wait for the game to release. I don’t know why the comment got deleted anyway, so I purged it.

I do agree with you! Without the next progress update, we would have no new teasers for the game besides the map layout and they haven’t had anything new for a while, so it would honestly be nice that they could share some screenshots related to the update like the floor maker to not cause people to think this game is never coming out or whatever they say. 
They could do that if it’s necessary or it’s good enough to show it to everyone!

It’ll be worth it for sure! It’s difficult to promise a release date for new progress updates due to adulthood life that Johnster went through and of course some hardware issues that annoyingly slows down development. 

If I have to predict what progress updates 19 would have, I think it might show new assets, gameplay, floor maker and also new project contributor which you probably knew about! : )

Hopefully when it releases, there could be a chance of getting a release date for both the Dev build version and the public release revealed, but it’s probably not guaranteed to happen depends on how IRL stuff went for them. I still hope that we can get it done in late 2026!

It’s not cancelled. They’re taking their time working on Beta 1 and ensures that the update will be worth the wait.

I also might update some tracks to make it sound better than the previous versions when I think it needs some reworking.

To be fair, I have made like 30+ Tracks for this game, but some of the track will likely be used for beta 1 (eg. Teaching is Fun!) while the remaining tracks would be used for later updates. In fact, I have already made tracks for both floor 4 and 5, so I am very excited to hear it in game when we get here. It won’t sound like the same music over and over, so don’t worry about that.

I assume so, but we don’t know yet. We’ll have to see when future updates releases.

There was lore in Alpha 6 if you went for the secret from floor 1, but I assume it’s outdated. It’s most likely that the story will get changed to make a lot more sense once beta 1 or later updates begins.

Phantom Baldi might have some lore too but who knows.

Phantom Baldi appearing in random mode probably doesn’t have any meaning to it and it’s because the map that had Phantom Baldi was actually part of my level called "Baldi’s Tragedy School" which doesn’t really have any some sort of lore to it and is more like a map made for fun. It’ll make sense in adventure mode when future updates arrive.

Also, Baldi sprite had already been changed since development of beta 1 which uses saintza4 Baldi model.

I’ll check that out at some point!
