Many thanks! Sounds like a cool idea! ๐
BTW, there are a few block-based programming languages that generate C code; they could be adapted to support the ZX Spectrum
HAROLDO! I AM YOUR FAN NOW!.
IF YOU CAN.... THIS COULD BE A GREAT IDEA FOR MAKE A NEW ENGINE FOR DEVELOPING GAMES FOR ZX SPECTRUM. Write me if i can collaborate with the project. (i have several ZX Spectrums) CZ Spectrum 48k, Sinclair Spectrum 2000, TK85 (Microdigital). ----> I have many other 8bits computers too, but is not important. Again. Thank you for replying and let me know IF YOU REALLY PLAN TO DO IT, I PROMISE TO HELP IN ANY OF MY POSIBILITIES. (Sorry for my english, i am Spanish talker).
I am thinking about making a similar tool for visually generating code for the CVBasic compiler, but its possible that the current approach (individual variables) won't work when one has lots of sprites available. Maybe using a more scratch-like block language would work better on this situation, even though the conversion of the code would have to be less direct.
Hi Haroldo. I wrote to you some days ago, 275 days to be exact. I was wondering if you have the zx spectrum ide for coding in mind. If not... i WANT to COLABORATE with you in the commodore and atari projects ide for making games... as translator. I can translate the english or russian text to the spanish, FOR FREE, i only wish to be in the credits, that's all, and in this case, the only interest is in help. So. Take in mind the offering and write me. I have a youtube channel about ARCADE repairs. I do this for living, and I share the videos with people only for fun and for showing my work.
