I think I got stuck right at the beginning? I couldn't figure what to do other than wander that infinite hallway and go back to the main room, I think the game must be clearer in what it expects the player to do, also, I think the control scheme is a little weird for keyboard+mouse

Other than that, I really really liked the style. I love how you can have 3d with 2d sprites and I think there's a lot of potential there for a good game. I really wish I was able to unravel more of the story as it looked very promising.

Thanks for the feedback! Tbh I didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about the controller scheme. I only realized much later that I should’ve added E as an action key, and I’m still not sure about space being reserved for item effects.

The puzzles were done in the last minute, so until I have time to implement better ones with more helpful tips and more rewarding gameplay, I’ve added a comment with the solutions on the game page as a workaround.

I think making games is like making bread. The bigger the dough is,  the more time it needs in the oven. In my opinion, this bread is huge, and looks really promising, it just needs a bit more time in the oven.

What I mean is, the game is awesome, it looks good, sounds good and has plenty of mechanics that make it really entretaining to play, but every of them could be a bit more polished, by things like adding coyote time to the platformer or making the boss special attack a bit slower.

Sorry if I was a bit mean, I think the game's really good and has a bright future, but as I understood the idea was to keep working on it, I thought I could give a little more feedback. <3

Thanks for the feedback! I don’t think it was mean, in fact I agree with you. I spent too much time implementing the mechanics and there was very little time at the end to make the maps better (there’s an issue at the forest that I hope no one noticed so far) and the fights more balanced. Classic time mismanagement. That said, as soon as the rating period ends, I’ll start working on this as a full standalone project, so this feedback will help a lot. Thank you!

Finally got around to play it and I'm impressed. I didn't know RPGMaker allowed for full 3D. The 2.5D style is great and I love all of the different mechanics tied to each object you unlock.

Just one nitpick, in the platformer section after getting the ballet dress some of the upper platforms can block the camera when you move it around.

It looks really promising, but I'm having trouble running the Linux build... where's the "start" button? I've tried pressing Enter and Space but no response.

My bad, you have to press the cancel button (esc, x or b on the gamepad) to exit this screen. I should’ve added a “continue” button

Just letting you know that I updated the game to v1.2.1 and now there is a text explaining the controls the first time you run the game!
