1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?
Hey, my name is Trevor, I'm 37 (jeez, that's weird even typing it) and I am a musician by day...and night.
2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?
Nope, this is my first game jam and I'm terrified-ish. I wanted to join so I could finish something like this. Been wanting to get into game composition. It's really crowded, so I'm gonna do my best to get at least a little bit of development under my belt. Gotta be able to talk to the game designers properly!
3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?
I love loads of games! FPS's, side scrollers, metroidvanias, strategy, etc. There's so much good stuff out there. Just the idea of being in control of a little world for people to play in is inspiration enough.
4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?
I did a little bit with Gamemaker a few years ago, but didn't stick to it. Gonna try Godot this time!
5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!
I love music, of course, but I also love writing and (more recently) drawing. I'm hoping to bring all of that together in one simple game.
6. What are your goals for this game jam?
To learn how the sausage is made, basically. Maybe meet some people who might want to work with me in the future or something. Who knows? Life is crazy!
