Thank you, yv0751, for creating this great game. I have a lot of fun playing it.

I have a question, though, since you marked the game as finished.
In-game, you can set Nimhe to convert Bot Crates into Shells as her daily task. There are three options:

  • Craft Simple Shell with the ToolTip saying
"Craft Bot shells - Type J, K, C (uses 3 Standard Bot crates)
  • Craft Luxury Shell with the ToolTip saying
"Craft Bot shells - Type L, P (uses 3 Military Bot crates)
  • Craft Exotic Shell with the ToolTip saying
"Craft Bot shells - Type V, N (uses 3 Rare Bot crates

But in my case, Nimhe only ever produces Type J shells.

Mind you, of course I put all the triplets in the ship's inventory.

No other shell type beside J is ever produced for the Simple Shell option and no shell at all is ever produced and no error is shown for the other two options. After the day is finished, the crates needed for the two options are still in the inventory. After producing the J shell, however, they are correctly removed.

So is it a feature planned for the future expansions or do I simply miss some prerequisites.

Shouldn't these options be disabled if Nimhe cannot fulfil the command.

And shouldn't the "Simple Shell" command be renamed if she is only able to make the Type J shells?

On another note: Skipping one hour repeatedly (hour glass icon) does trigger the production, while skipping the whole day (moon icon) doesn't. This is also something one wouldn't normaly expect, right?

Glad you enjoyed the game.
I could have explained the shell crafting more explicitly.

In order to craft a shell, Nimhe must first "know" it (this prevents her crafting shells you have never seen...)

In her dialogue select "Botlab Voucher" and give her a shell to study (only once needed for each shellt type). You get this option once you have advanced to Sex with her.

Then this shell is added to the shells she creates out of a shell tier.

Thanks for the one hour / sleep inconsistence. I need to fix that. As a workaround you can click on your bed to pass a (half) day.

Ah! Thanks a lot. Now it makes perfectly sense.

....so....I think there will be opportunity to get to know all the seven shell types?

QC activity is only possible for the basic one, the V and the N.

Regarding the botlab they are all implemented and can be found.

- N, V, K in the Krell Asteroid Belt on loot Bots

- P, G in Quthor Asteroid belt on loot Bots

- I, J and the Galaxina Prototype Shell are special items (Galaxina cannot be created in 1.40)

So, what kind of crate type is shell G? It's not listed in any of the three tasks. I guess it's a Luxury Type, so three Military Bot cases?

Its the Golden Seductress Shell (The one with the Golden Corset). Maybe i mixed up the letter and it is L.

No, you're right. It's the Golden Seductress. Really beatiful. But Nimhe can't reproduce it. "This Shell Type is still beyond me..."

So there is hope?!?

she can do it but it takes a while for her to reach that level. With every shell she is producing her skill increases by 0.5 or 0.8. I think you can see the required skills in the walk-through.

Also, there is a small error/inconsistency in the dialog when you obtain the J shell Here it says it will cost one crate while in fact it costs three.

Ah, the description in the Walkthrough (on page 52) is also wrong.

Yes, i unified it to 3 crates each and forgot to update some text.

I must say, the whole idea of bot shells is ingenious. It's like taking a game that's already great and adding to it the whole "Gotta Catch 'Em All" aspect. Trying to get all the possible shells and to produce all the sex bots with them and putting them to work is extremely satisfying. It's a completely separate game in itself.

I'm trying really hard and my best bot is valued at 34,143,286 Cr atm. :) It's a Type V Shell bot , btw.

I'm glad you like the shell idea.
It was an approach to create a visual variation with reasonable render effort.
34 Mil is great. During testing whenever I have 8 Mill or more I feel already good about.
There are Bot experts though who push the boundary. Best I have seen is a non-escaping Bot for 134 Mil. (Galaxina Shell).  I assume with heavy backscrolling/rerolling for the addons...

Thats why I introduced the MV Pod idea which enables you to carry those bots forward into your next/new game iteration.
