Even Epic Games gives away AAA games for free every week, and no one complains about that.The game will return to its paid status shortly if that eases your mind. Consider the two dollars as a small contribution to support the developer, which is the primary purpose of this platform. While we occasionally offer free content, we also rely on these small donations to sustain our work.

Hopefully the games are not getting removed from Itch as i'm pretty sure i bought one of them too.

This was extremely sad of you...So, nothing about supporting the devs who give you stuff for free? Bet you don't say the same about a Fortnite skin or weapon.
