Then... go play those instead? I really like S&D a lot.

i played like 40 mins and after that i wrote this comment. my thoughts are still same, this game is so repetitive it gets boring real fast . i wish every indie game maker had community like you guys 😫 i like how i got -6 in a few days 😫

40 minutes? I guarantee you that you barely even scratched the surface. The reason for so many down votes is that you are immediately calling a roguelike "repetitive". By definition every roguelike game is repetitive... but what makes them stand out is that no two runs are the same. And the gameplay aspect plays a huge part in the replay value.

No one is asking you to like the game, but be more creative with your criticism.

This is like saying you hate Vampire Survivors after 1 run. :/

To be fair it's easy enough to tell if you hate something like Vampire Survivors after 1 run. 40 minutes is also far and away more than enough to get a general impression of this game.

Like yeah you've "barely scratched the surface" at that point... if you're looking forward to seeing more. It's not some Final Fantasy "gets good 40 hours in" situation, nor are you going to see some new piece of equipment or character interaction that makes your impression of the core loop do a 180.

I'm waffling pretty hard on this game right now myself because I absolutely do not get what it is about it that has so many people hobbering over it in much the same way as I don't 'get' Balatro, but it's *almost* engaging enough for me to want to get as a phone timewaster for my breaks at work.

Though out of anything of the original post, if there are competing RLDB games available for free that'd be the more interesting part of the conversation to have.

ok 🤟

Real question is if you stopped at the Demo or not. I recommend trying demos of this game for people to check if it is fun. Do couple of runs and such, and if it is fun buy. If it isn't your cup of tea than don't buy
