loved this game! the story, music, and background sounds created an environment that made me feel like I was actually stranded.

The controls were a bit odd to me but I easily got used to them over time. I would love to see the mechanics expanded just a tad more to make the game slightly more challenging and immersive. Of course, we only have so much time in a jam and this was a great start!

Very pretty game and I really enjoyed the story elements. Also managed to find the dead end and the blank note :D

I think my only comment was that maybe I would prefer simple WASD controls (or controller) over the mouse movement, but that may just be a personal preference.

as for the controlls, I agree it would be cool to play whit a controller.

Cool take on the theme!  Reading the notes and scrambling for wood was was engaging.  Would've been nice to see the current number of sticks you have

Actually, it was also planned to show how much wood you have...
bit I forgot about it towards the end XD
nice that you like it!

That was a sad ending! I loved the game and it was super immersive, the only thing I'd say is that it'd be nice if the game paused when you read a note. I liked reading them but sometimes I was freezing too much to stop and read them fully. Cool game!

I'm glad that someone had the same idea, but in a different version.

A short but interesting game
