Incredible and very charming! I'm happy to see more and more people using Godot in their projects!

Nice game, 9.5/10, love the graphics and 2D/3D blend, and like how the plane goes up towards the screen at the upper edge because the child's arm is not long enough and the smoke at 1 HP, and love how the weapons share their bonuses, and great music; definitely going to try reach the end! A few things though maybe the runway could be bigger, the plane is huge compared to the runway and there's not much place to maneuver especially with lots of bullets, or maybe just a smaller plane. Also the arm's shadow is cut off when the plane is at the highest point.  IDK if I have yet to unlock this by reaching far enough, but pickups would be nice, even just one pickup a little shield that can be activated with space bar for when there is just too many bullets, or a bomb that clears all bullets on screen, would just make this game a 10/10. Minor thing, I have some slowdown when there was a lot of bullets and explosions on the screen, but I'm playing this on an 8-year old laptop (Windows app version) with integrated graphics that's why I'm saying minor; it runs great when the screen is not filled with bullets though.

It's just an amazing game. You've done a good job and created a very interesting concept. The mechanics themselves are perfectly combined with graphics and music. I think this is one of the best games. Keep it up !

Great game!
It looks amazing visually, plus the weapons actually appear on the planes and it looks right.
I like how weapons also give their bonus to adjacent weapons, makes for great combos :)

Only thing I'd change is the plane's hitbox being HUGE, especially when compared to other shoot'em'up. I assume the plane is big so you can see the weapons better, but I'd add a colored part in the middle that's the "weakpoint" and ignore enemy shots elsewhere (like in a lot of shoot'em'up).

But overall, crazy good for such a short jam :)
