Another arthouse game in the jam! There are many good scenes!
Stamps are fun. The noir scene is my favorite!

Developer

Thank you!

Very cool atmosphere, it was a bit unclear on what to do but then I saw the pin.

Felt like a fever dream, loved it !

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

THe game have three scenes, not counting the animation sequence and intros.

To progress from the office scene, throw box employees into the wastebasket until it fills up.

Developer

You can also ignore the directions on the paper, you'll just get a buzzer warning

Submitted

Thanks! That helps.

Jam Host

Super cool and original opening sequence! I tried playing it a couple of times but the stamping mechanic didn't work reliably for me.

Developer

Thank you! Could you mind telling me how it's not working so I can fix it? You could try slamming the stamp on the paper

Jam Host

I played it a couple of times and in the first instance, the stamp went a bit crazy. I think I pushed it too far into the collider below it because it stamped several times in a second. But, did nothing. When I tried it again, it worked for the first sheet of paper, but not the second. So, I'm not exactly sure what was happening.

Developer

The multiple stamping doesn't effect the gameplay.

I think it's because I didn't write the instructions clearly. When a worker's performance is too low(indicated by the bar) you have to fire them by throwing them into the bin. The game will wait for you to do that, regardless of if you stamped the to-be-fired employee correctly or not.

Hoped that helped!

Loved the trippy experience and risky decisions about continous movement. My colleague and I did our best in one week but you have done it in half the time, amazing job. Have to play it twice since I got crashed in the approval/decline part, but restart and then went smoothly :)

Super original and aesthetically polished!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Your game was incredibly polished as well!

Super creative & surreal experience!

Developer

Thank you!

One of the best looking games of the jam! Loved the trippy dream sequence at the beginning and the creativity in the gameplay. And it was all made in 3 days?! Brilliant.

Developer

Thank you so much!

Nice experience!

I felt a bit nauseous at first, but I'm really weak to this kind of movment :p

The art story telling is great, lunch tasted good, 100% approved!

Tested on occulus rift with 1060 3g.

Developer

Thank you!

I'm assuming you meant the spaceship scene? We should've tuned the shake down a bit, haha XD

Please download version 1.3.
We fixed some bugs and added support for more controllers, especially SteamVR ones

Submitted(+1)

Running SteamVR with an Index I couldn't get any trigger interactions to work. Though the environment looks amazing and I'd love to explore this one further!

Developer

I'll try to get a fix out, making other controllers work in OpenXR is always so annoying!

Developer

Also it would be great to tell me what other buttons are not working:

Can you grab the glitched cup? or set the floor height?

Submitted

I was able to set floor height and grab the cup!

And boy do I hear you on OpenXR... We had some last minute issues with grip button specifically for Oculus Quest Link users. Cross platform VR needs to be easier!

Developer(+1)

Each time I create a new project I just pull this up: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/xr_input.html

But this still only works about 50 percent of the time... Unity whyyy

Developer(+1)

I updated the game with Valve Index support.
Download 1.3 and check if it works now!

Mindblowingly good. Seriously great stuff, loved the surrealness of it. The camera work for the conversation worked so well in VR. More devs need to take chances like this.

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much! The artist of our team really just made whatever she wanted with no restrictions, and I tried to match it as closely as possible in VR. We actually made a rigged box model with more expressive and cartoony facial expressions, but that was unfortunately cut because of time constraint.

The visual story telling was amazing! Great job combining those unsettling environments into a game.

Developer

Thank you!
