nice work, you achieved a lot with a minimalist look. I found the controls fiddly though, would have prefered to jump with up arrow or w key, found myself placing the mouse then platforming with two hands.

Good point, I’ll probably add some more ways to control the character. The way it currently plays is what felt most natural to me and the people I talked to about it, but more options don’t hurt.

Thanks!

To be honest, I think it is because I am more of a console gamer and don't play much on PC. Things that come naturally to PC gamers often get me in a twist. But making things accessible to the widest audience is always a plus.

Awesome Game! I like the minimalist art approach and the dialogue system works well. Looks cool and pretty fun!

Appreciate the feedback, thank you!

Hey very nice! Took me some time to get the hang of movement, though. I would maybe consider some friction. Really nice atmosphere. Maybe I didn't catch it soon enough, but I made use of the mouse only after the first time I got to the stage with more than one enemy. Nice story, too :)

Developer

Thank you for playing! I had some friction at first but decided against it because I felt that some of the tight jumps were too easy, looking back I should’ve probably just reduced it instead of removing it completely.

The part about the mouse was explained in the dialogue in the very beginning, maybe you accidentally skipped it? I sure tend to skip important info in these kind of games :D

XD yeah, probably

That was a really cool game. It reminded me of that game that came out a few years ago Thomas Was Alone. The mechanics were really nicely executed, simple to understand and effective. The lighting is really nice to look at as well. Well written too! Just overall a really well done game, I really enjoyed it even though I got stuck.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Never played Thomas was alone, but I’ll check it out :)

Which part did you get stuck?
