Hey guys this is encouraging - thank you so much for the feedback. It's going to be slow paced, old school. Yea I think I'd let enemies drop gold and you will need to fetch them. You can only summon your units though, no placing on your own but they will be evenly placed.

Yea maybe i'd move out of the evolution upgrades and just go with standard choose-your-upgrades path.

Such a good idea! The implementation is impressive. I see potential. Would love to playtest if you do a post-jam version.

What I wanted is: (1) First waves -> weaker undead that are one-hit kills (2) Kill undead -> get gold + XP (3) Use gold to get units and XP for upgrades (and perhaps upgrades) (4) Units can get positioned like towers and stay to protect an area (so you need to strategize where to place each unit). (5) Have different levels with different maps

This is the most interesting idea I’ve seen in the jam so far!

Hi Guys, thanks so much for trying. It's buggy I admit, I tried to be ambitious and couldn't get a polish game out in time. But I wanted to submit so i can get some feedback like you guys provided and see if there will be an audience to my game.

That's really cool, I think there's a glitch, because you can build an infinite number of the third units.
