I really really really want to love this... but I couldn't even get across the second screen. Every single time I got stuck at the fridge again, wondering what the R meant on the block and why the R-Key didn't do anything. or at least I never noticed it doing anything...

I saw you play farther than that but it simply wasn't accessible enough for me... sadly. Nevertheless here are the things I really liked about the game:

- the cube felt incredibly smooth to play. I really loved that!

- you had an incredibly genius and novel way to combine the life of the player character with his sight radius, that gave the entire game a very special and unique feel.

- The music and the entire Artstyle are super fitting and gorgeous!

- And last but not least, I love that you actually have some content in your game... even if I couldn't manage to play through it.

Great Work! Keep at it!

Great game! One of my the best in this game jam!
It had a great feel and the concept is very original. Kudos for that.

The platforming needs a bit more polishing. The jump was inconsistent and often the block didn't jump that high as well.
The 'R' key was hard to understand. Ultimately I figured out that pressing and holding it leaves your corpse behind.

Surprisingly good for a team of 2, even more so being your first Jam, congratz on the game, hope to see more of you two!

i believe your art is supposed to be pixelart. there is a setting that will keep it from getting blurred out. nice work overall. i like the use of music, sound and lighting

Amazing for a first game jam entry! All of the elements (art, sound, music and game feel) really worked together very well.

The ice cube feels very slippery to move around, which feels great and the random rotation on some jumps was cute - the rotation just drove me insane on that last level where I had to do the jump up between two blocks twice.

The mechanic of leaving a block behind when melting worked very well as a mechanic - it just didn't make any sense thematically - if I melt there should be a puddle?! Maybe if I was a little CPU running around and overheated I would leave a block behind... :P

Just in case, some people get stuck... Need to hold down R, seemed like it wasnt that clear

The concept is great and the minimalst coloursheme realyl helps the game.
I particularly enjoyed the difficulty curve.

The one thing that didn't seem to be working for me is the r-key. Is it supposed to reset the current level?

Thanks for the feedback on the stream, R kills you once, so sometimes it respawns and sometimes resets the level. :D

I really like the style of this one :). Great work!

Great idea to give failed attempts some persistency and turn them into a tool for the player. And I liked how your visuals supported the gameplay and made an interface redundant.
