Can this br based on my own engine/code previously done in unity?

So: I'm making this game. It runs on kind of an engine made for it in unity, which means it can be redone into something quite different, including music, art, dialogues, UI, etc. Most game rules and mechanics would stay ofc. It's been in development for over a year. Would me using it be in accordance with the rules, or should I start a new project from scratch? And what about reusing my own code?

Yup this is in the FAQ! Since you didn't make your own engine (/generic code) specifically for this jam, you are welcome to use it.

Is there any restriction on game engines?
Nope! You are free to use whichever game engine you like - including your own custom-built engines - as long as you create the code and assets specific to this game from scratch.

Thank you. I must have overlooked the "as long as you create the code and assets specific to this game from scratch." part.
