Epic! The chord choices (~0:10) were quite good and transitioning between them sounded natural even with the A chord at 0:28.

Thanks for joining the jam!

Fantastic all around, so many unique and varied ideas and techniques, just a joy to listen to.

SO GOOD! Feels like a fusion Hollow Knight track, if you don't mind who made that cover art cause that picture really fits this theme well

This intro is a great succinct way of immediately transporting me into the battle, and also works as an excellent way to get the listener into the battle (or back into the battle, as I would assuredly be dying and restarting many times with how strong this boss feels). I really like the string ostinato with the big timpani hits, this keeps the energy moving continuing the fight-like feel. I am so impressed with the quality of strings and chorus you are able to produce! My favorite moment is right after the triumphant horn blast hits and the violins flurry around, taking the brief moment of order and hope, and the boss takes back control of the battle. The loop is very well made too - major props to you for me not even realizing how many times I listened through it until the end. Your music is always so professionally composed and produced and I always learn a lot from listening to the music you make. Excellent job on this- thank you so much for sharing!

This was very good! I think you nailed a lot of things that make a good boss theme while managing to capture the Halloween theme. The orchestration feels well done and very fitting. There is a nice balance with the accented rhythm and faster-moving parts. I especially love the brass transition at 00:30. I got some Hollow Knight vibes.

I think my only feedback/criticism is the length/development of the piece I wished for more. I think the material you presented during the duration of the piece has the potential to expand on. This is something that I can struggle with but I also think if you managed to do that you would reach a new level. But not every boss fight requires a 2+ min theme.

This is already super good to the extent that I craved for more.

Love this one!

This was absolutely insane! Your orchestration techniques and skills are crazy, and I am just learning utilizing orchestra elements and composition, so you GOTTA put me on to some of the vsts and techniques you do. Amazing work!

ooh there are a ton of underrated developers that make kontakt instruments that I like. I’m always looking for more people to nerd out with about that kind of stuff lol

Wow this sounds amazing! Definitely final boss vibes, reminds me of Hollow Knight with the orchestration. Very epic, climactic piece befitting of an intimidating face off. Fantastic work!

ah you caught me! I love hollow knight! Christopher Larkin is a genius! Speaking of… your artwork and song title seem very hollow knight to me. Your entry felt a lot more electronic,  but now that you mention it, I can hear some inspiration in the intro especially!

Haha thanks! I listen to so much music it’s hard for me to pinpoint my own inspirations sometimes 😭

This is so epic! You clearly have a mastery of orchestration and especially arrangement. I love your use of dynamics (those crescendos slap). The instrumentation was top notch (but I might be a bit biased bc I also used an orchestra and an organ😂).

Amazing work!

Oh wow, this goes hard! Out of all the songs I have heard, this one definitely has the most traditional "boss battle" vibes to it and especially with the instrumentation it has a very strong epic kinda feel to it. I also appreciate the use of some horror cliches with how you write the organ, string instruments, and chorus.

Honestly when I was listening to this I couldn't help but imagine the old MediEvil game for whatever reason. Awesome job, this rocks!

Kind of got some N64 platformer vibes from this, that might be the organ though

Everything else has a really cool soundtrack vibe to it, like I can picture it being in a movie and in a video game. I like the driving strings behind it and it feels like it's constantly building up. Like, as boss fight, I can imagine the boss getting stronger and stronger throughout the fight and using new powers or something like that
