Ok, as a developer, you should know better than to destroy your players' wrists 😛
Really, clickers are the most unergonomical (borderline destructive) games there are.
Ok, after this rant, let me give a few notes 😆
I liked the fact that you had to pick leaves at the right time. So, it's a bit of a gamble: will I click a bit more and risk losing everything, or will I take what I have and click early. That along with the fact that the time was going rather fast makes for a nice combo.
No clickers for me, but for a 3hour game, it's a good job.
Hi Friday,
thank you for your honest feedback. :)
Exactly, that is what I was aiming at. You are constantly in the decission whether to take more risk or pick what you alreay spawned. I wish I had some more time to implement one more feature: Improve on spawning (more leaves spawn in a specific season).
ill be honest, i hate clicker games. i think it's the worst posible game design could exist. but at least it's works. so credit for that XD
but anyway gameplay aside it's not bad. the visual is kinda different (even though kinda lazy). and it has audio. so also credit for that. i wonder how you made it though, is it just hard code HTML or you actually use a game engine
That my persona; subjective opinion though, so don't take it too seriously
Hi Reamuji, thank you for your comment. At the moment I am experimenting with the Clicker genre and I think it is good for a game jam. Does not have to be everyone's cup of tea.
I did use Unity for it. That's what I want to improve in. Also, the particle effects can be done well here.
ah i see, i just this one kinda lack of depth to it. but anyway GL on your next project
hey!
its a cool concept for a clicker game. and beautiful visual style!
I made a Video playing your Game :-)
Thank you for playing and recording your session! That is always the best method for feedback.
you are very welcome :-)
Pretty unique for a clicker, I like it! I'm used to just counting seasons by months so the season switches confused me a little at first but I figured it out. :D
