What a wonderful submission! There is beauty in the simplicity here. Very clever design, following the jam theme and getting a lot out of simple but powerful code tweaks to create a complete experience in under 3 hours.
When I got to the first signpost at first I wasn't sure what to do, and I went to read the description to see if I was missing an interact button. When I went back to the game I had a very joyful moment discovering what you did there. I died getting distracted by some of the objects on the lower part of the level, but didn't have any trouble completing the main path.
Each section was short and succinct, just enough to get the point across, and music did a lot to help the mood. I love it.
Thank you for your feedback, it's much appreciated.
I will add sound indicators to signal changes in the area, so that players can better understand what is happening.
I hope that the few buggy areas did not affect your gaming experience.
I think you have a typo in the instructions, you have it as Q to go Left, but its actually A. The switching of controls was nifty but when he goes invisible seemed to be the end of my ability to navigate properly. I think if you clean up the texture filtering on the main character that would help with visuals a lot, along with maybe adding some audio cues that something has changed with the controls would be nice. as beyond the sign posts there isn't much of an indicator. And when I go back wards and cross into another zone in the air, I can't correct in time as my brain hasn't switched.
I apologize for the mistake. It's actually the AZERTY keyboard layout, not QWERTY. I should have specified that in the description. It's my fault.
As for the character, that's currently being changed. It is indeed more vague than I initially thought.
I'm also taking note of your advice, such as the idea of adding sound cues to signal a change.
Thank you for your feedback.
