I really like the labyrinth idea, that was a great implementation of the constraint!!
I don't know if it is just me but the teleport is not smooth every time. Otherwise, I like this type of maze even if I already know how they work😅
It's definitely just you 😉 Haha it's entirely probable it's being glitchy, I had some issues in version 1 with it being REALLY bad, managed to get rid of most of it at least for version 1.1 still within the 3 hour limit. Now I need to work on my lighting, it's... Rough 😂
Really creative idea and actually the lack of any explanation really made it work! Reminds me of Exit 8 only a little less scary lol
Thanks! I've only seen videos of Exit 8 but that and The Stanley Parable were definitely influences on the design.
This is a solid entry! It reminded me of a scene from the show Severance and also gives away off Stanleys Parable vibes. I love how you did so much without a lot of instructions,. After running around for a bit you start to understand the game and learn the "directions" - great stuff!
Thanks! I'm unfamiliar with Severance but will have to give it a look. I was hoping the lack of instructions would work out, wasn't sure how it would go.
Cool game, does lack some content but I'm not sure how complicated 3D is as I'm a 2D dev. I did find a bug where i could get outside the map.
Thank you for the feedback! CIllusion is not my strong suit for sure, still working out the kinks there.
I'd say it's not terribly much more complicated, although my skills with lighting need a bunch of work. I'm hoping to do some research into that before next jam.
As for content, it's definitely limited in its scope. I'd hoped to do more with it but getting the rooms to connect without being incredibly jittery ate up more time than I wanted it to.
