cute game, impressive for 4 hours of dev time. I noticed some screen-tearing. I recommend using Tiled map editor, and a Cinemachine camera (if using Unity). Otherwise, fun and simple gameplay. It would be nice if there was a charge time on the sword attacks, so as not to spam indefinitely, and maybe even a rolling mechanic to dodge. I played your game here 😊 19:18 - 23:53

Game was pretty fun. Some player feedback for when you hit something and something hits you would've been nice! also the game can get very easy if you just spam the attacks but i really liked the upgrade system/downgrade system and the visuals/audio were very pleasing!

nice, but my autoclicker crashed game 😥

The game was pretty nice overall, but I think it needsd frames for when both, the player is hit and the enemies are hit. Also, not a fan of how the swords moves, it feels like im just jabbing to the sides, not swinging at all so I had to position myself and aim in one of the direction to hit the enemies.

The presentation is excellent with good music, spritework, and sfx. Nitpicks would be that the player character moves super slow at base speed, and it's hard to tell when you're being hit. Some i-frames would be nice. Also I encountered a bug in which I could not press space to restart and had to refresh the page.

A very strong entry, nice work!

Thank you I'm glad you liked it!

And yeah I need to do more testing to find a good balance for all the player stats, as well as making sure the upgrade/downgrade system doesn't break anything else haha, and yes I wanted to add a sprite "blink" when you get hit or hit an enemy to address that issue but sadly couldn't finish it in time, for the bug where pressing space doesn't start the game I don't know what causes it, I think it has something to do with Unity interacting with the website, it happened to me too and I couldn't find a fix for it.

again thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Nice game! Loved the art and music! I think this is a neat idea that could be well expanded on. One thing I wish was added is some feedback for when the player is hit, because while playing I didn't really notice that I was taking damage. Overall, great work!

Thanks I'm glad you liked it! And definitely, I want to expand at least a bit more on the game and make something more complete (and less buggy ofc).

Yes I started to work on a "blink" effect so there would be clear feedback when you hit or something hits you but I didn't have any more time, that's something I'll work on for sure
