Game is really fun and engaging! However, as someone mentioned before, mouse sensitivity is crazy :(
Thanks for the feedback. I just uploaded an updated version where you can customize the mouse sensitivity from pause menu -> controls -> mouse sensitivity
The low poly aesthetic was done really well along with the post-processing to create a really sleek visual. The sound effects were also really well integrated too.
I unfortunately couldn't make it past the first zombie who killed me no matter what I tried. I unloaded all my ammo into the zombie and kept trying to repeatedly melee it but it just kept coming back up and killing me. I tried 3 different times but to no luck. Maybe I'm a bad gamer?
Thanks for the feedback. Be stealthy and avoid shooting! ;)
Nice work -- this was a fun game and I enjoyed the aesthetics. The low poly fires and flickering lighting were really nice, and together with the excellent police car sounds made for a great atmosphere. I also really liked the animations (picking things up, limping, crouching). I liked the emphasis on stealth, too, which gave the game (and use of the map) more of a puzzle feel, and added to the feeling of suspense. The map itself was also well designed and reliable, and the game thumbnail is nicely designed.
In further development, I would make sure the gun reliably registers hits in close combat -- at times I unloaded a full gun point-blank on the alien, and most of the shots seemed not to land (no red animation). A second suggestion might be to allow the player so slide along vertical surfaces a bit more easily. When I moved along a curb, e.g., it would stick and I had to back up or side-step to proceed. A minor thing, but it might improve the flow of gameplay.
I made it through to Chapter 3 and had fun playing it -- nice job!
Thanks for playing and for the valuable feedback!
I came back and after several more tries, I BEAT IT :).
GREAT JOB!
The low-poly visual design somehow really suits the horror genre. Your sound design is also quite good. A good stealth kill, properly executed, is very satisfying. Overall, engaging.
There is one drawback that really prevented me from fully enjoying this experience. The mouse is way too sensitive. This becomes an issue both when looking around and when aiming the gun.
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I did not have the opportunity to have others test the game before submitting and therefore to have feedback on the sensitivity of the mouse: next time I will try to make it customizable from the settings
Just uploaded an updated version where you can customize the mouse sensitivity from pause menu -> controls -> mouse sensitivity ;)
Much better! :)
really scary! great horror-game! where i can find more ammo?
Thanks for playing! The small yellow points on the minimap are pickups, you can use them as a hint. . Be careful and stealthy: every shot attracts enemies! (SPOILER ALERT: You can find some ammo near some of the police cars in chapter 1 and 2, some hidden in the power plant and some in the hospital area entrance) ;)
