Theme
The protagonists were on a road trip before getting lost in the forest, and in a way, the killer was on a trip too, symbolically. During gameplay, the player drives around in a car, navigating various places. The horrible event that took place stumbled upon them like a stroke of bad luck. (...or is it?) (Play to find out!) (Yeah, we're great salesmen.) It admittedly got a bit off the rails, but the main story originated from the theme as a starting point.
Limitations
THIRST FOR THE SPEED, and I NEED WATER AFTER THIS. The killer is extremely athletic! He's going to chase the player's car and reach it in no time. The player must have great typing skills and reflexes to survive. Furthermore, with the player using their brain at such a high capacity to play this amazing video game system, they will feel thirsty and want to drink water after the ordeal. Such an intense gameplay. (All the more reason to try out our game! MWAHAHA!)

Your story is gone beyond every level bro. Can't understand all of them, but like Fah said. It's above my kind to know the truth of time. You're the best writer in this Jam. Gameplay very intense too, almost send my keycap fly away.

Fun story. The characters' description made me chuckled (unemployed physics grad, dislikes: inflation). I like how you made text-based adventure gameplay not feel monotonous by introducing speed typing and puzzle solving elements in-between. Though I feel the inclusion of the textwriter to justify the text-based gameplay is a bit forced. And I'm not sure if it does but from what I've seen, the direction you chose doesn't actually matter. Could be something to expand upon for the sequel THE TIME KILLER 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO.
Thanks for playing! Yup, the direction you choose doesn't matter. We planned it that way because we thought we wouldn't have time, haha! I understand the typewriter comment for sure. My thought process was that it was funny in a random rawr xd way, but yeah, it kind of came out of nowhere.
