Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
We incorporated the theme of generosity by exploring moments during grief when others choose to be generous in response. Often this is happy, bittersweet, and sometimes a bit inconvenient.

A wonderful entry, I love the physical way the thesis of the game is conveyed to the player, the way it actually gets in your way and you have to juggle it all just to be able to read the dialogue. I also loved the moment of discovery when I accidentally combined two objects for the first time. I ran through the game a few times to be sure, and like others, I am unfortunately getting a crash once Gaia appears. I also noticed that the perfume disappears once you create it, I even tried creating it mid-air in case it was simply popping through the floor. I hope you upload a fix after the jam, or possibly a desktop build. I was looking forward to seeing where it was going!

The complete antithesis of my game, haha.

It took forever to load in the browser, and I eventually encountered a fatal javascript bug. Both contribute to this game's interpretation of the theme, which is excellent and hilarious.

Generosity can often be overstimulating, especially in moments of grief. The saturation of color and detail in items, rooms, and dialogue contributes to what is, indeed, a casserole. It begins to stack up and distract from the nuanced condolences of family members and neighbors. An important lesson: less is more.

Marvelous work, you have created an artistic masterpiece!

The art is really well-done! I love how it integrates into your game! The dialogue also works out to be smoothest ive seen in jams. Really really impressive job!

Yo! Just from the name, I knew I was about to play an unforgettable game. The art direction, the narrative—everything is really well done. You did a great job—GG! <3
Ps: I thought the bug was part of the game lol xD

The art style and subject matter did not prepare me for the sheer humour of this game. Frantically trying to throw away gifts just so I find that continue button! Along with the even more absurd items being added to the pile gave me a good chuckle.  But ultimately the well wishers won out as they ended up crashing the game with soo many gifts! Great game.

This direction is incredibly, respectfully, bold. Not many would have allowed the objects to cover up even the “continue” button of the dialog box, and the visually striking artwork. Thank you very much for making this.
