A super simple concept, but really well executed and polished. The pixel artwork is beautiful and the overall mood of the game matches this (especially Pachelbel's Canon in D major ;)). I am unfortunately only able to test this on PC but even there the controls were clean and the game ran smoothly and bug-free. At least from watching your demo video I can tell that the cutscene, too, is wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

I loved the visual (the clouds were very pretty). The gameplay is simple and fun, but I feel like it gets boring pretty quickly so maybe add more variety or make the game speed up faster. Overall its a good game :)

Thank you for your comment! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค We definitely want to change the rate in which the droppings speed up. We also want to add features like leaderboards, as well as badges and skins that you can unlock as you play, to make the game more fun!

I almost made it to level 10 but oops D: high score of 918!

Very pretty game, works well! Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work on my phone (Android 14, it said unsupported?), and I also tried bluestacks, with no luck (gray screen).

Would love to come back to it and see the cutscenes if you can recommend an android emulator that definitely works.

As for improvements, it would have been nice to have multiple lives, or perhaps a pickup for extra life. Not sure if there are distinct cutscenes to see in later levels.

Thank you for your feedback! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค I think you're officially the world champion of Thirsty Green so far ๐Ÿ˜‚ We developed it for Android Lollipop (it was our first time developing for mobile), but we'll definitely change that so newer androids can play it as well! As for the cutscenes, for now we only have one cutscene that plays after each year (but we'll probably change that, as it "breaks" the player experience a little bit). You can watch the cutscene in our demo video! We want to polish the game and add a few more features, one of them being the option of reviving using coins (that users will win as they play) or watching an add. Again, thanks for your feedback, we'll have all that in consideration while continuing the development!

Such a calm and relaxing game! Would have liked a more difficult option, but great for relaxing

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค The difficulty increases as the years pass, but we'll have to adjust how much the speed increases each year, because it only gets more "challenging" starting from year 8

Very nice little game! Works perfectly on my phone. I like the graphics and the difficulty increases at a nice pace :)

Thank you  for your feedback! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค It was my first try at making a mobile game, and for the other developer (Daniel) it was his first try at gamedev, so we're very happy that we were able to complete the project on time and that you enjoyed it!

I really like the visuals and the music, the concept is simple but effective, nice ^^.

Developer(+2)

Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค This was our first gamejam and the other developer (Daniel) is a programmer in other IT area, so it was his first try at game dev. Because of that, we really wanted to do something simple, but that we could polish for a good result, so we're really glad you enjoyed it!

Pretty good game, stylish visuals. So is there limit of max speed of drops, or they just infinitely increasing speed?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค Currently we're increasing speed without a limit, but we want to conduct a few tests to understand what's the highest "playable" speed (even if it's hard for some players) and make it our speed limit.

Relaxing game and good graphics/audio. Although the random sometimes seems unfair, I lose once because there were no drops spawning for too long :P

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค We currently have a probability of 40% for lightnings and 60% for drops, but we might add a new constraint to only allow x consecutive lightnings or drops.

Worth downloading for the nice backgrounds in the cutscenes! Nice relaxing game.

Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค We're glad you enjoyed it!

This is an android game, but we added a browser version for testing purposes. ๐Ÿ˜‰ However, cutscenes don't play in the browser version, so be sure to download for the complete experience!
