Very atmospheric! I kept looking behind me to see if some of the sounds were something going on in another room...

Haha, that's great! To think this piece created that kind of reaction in the real world 😂

Thank you for your review!

This track has sci-fi haunted planet vibes, and feels like it came out of one of the newer Metroid games. The fast xylophone almost gives it a technologic vibe, but the low sweeping growls add in the horror ambience. I like the heart beat effect a lot. This is a great ambient piece as it does not have any definitive motion and it feels like you are just floating in an abyssal space. I appreciate the shifts in tone, volume, and mixing throughout the piece that keep the listeners on the edge of our seats and experience the horror of the scene that this music would accompany.

Wow, this is interesting feedback! I hadn't considered the piece from a sci-fi angle before -- but now that you mention Metroid, I know exactly what you mean! You're right in that I conceived this as being an ambient accompaniment to some sort of horror scene. Thank you for sharing your detailed thoughts on listening to it and I'm glad the mixing and effects added to the experience!

You got something going, for sure! I loved the sound you start out with - it has a lot of potential for scary stuff. Now I do feel as if your song is a bunch of separate ideas splashed together - it lacks cohesion a bit. Those separate ideas alone have potential though! The ending too is a bit sudden, did you not know of a way to end it perhaps? ;)
It is definitely spooky, it feels as if it could fit nicely in some form of long hallway or "between the mansion walls" indeed. Overall, I think it is not too bad at all and got potential, great job!

Thank you for your review! I agree some elements aren't gelling together as well as they could, and you're spot on about the ending -- it was mostly due to me running out of time, lol. I wish I'd had a bit more time to work on it, but I'm glad the "spookiness" came through! 👻
