  • Fun hectic game.

The game itself was fun to play, had decent visual graphics and interesting mechanics. I liked the fact that it was a shoot em up on rails, while still retaining enough control to allow skill to play a part. The mechanics where the music sort of slowed down was also quite cool! The audio was well done and it fit the game really well, so good job on that.

    - It was sometimes quite hard to tell what was what, which is sometimes to be expected with a shape jam, but you could probably use the background to show the player info of some sorts.
    - I got whacked by bullets off-screen, which I could dodge of course, but it might be nice to despawn bullets outside of the screen area (with a buffer zone of some sorts?).
    - I got lost quite a few times, and had no real clue where I had been (because everything is basically empty when cleared of enemies and there are no real landmarks except for the rails or lights).
    - Even though I got hit a lot I didn't really feel threatened in any sort of way since I didn't seem to die. This took away some of the excitement.

Great game though, I wonder how this would've turned out without the restrictions as the concept is awesome :)

Diamond and Trapezoid

I like it!

Its a really cool idea, on rails shooting with occasional choose your path action. Very difficult though as you get pelted with bullets offscreen, and especially if the roaming trapezoids attack you.  Maybe if you were able to see more of where you're headed it might be easier to dodge them.

thanks for feedback, we know what we did wrong, will try to fix that in the next game/update (the solution for this problem is most likely to make dash immune time last a little longer changing the view is not a real solution) by making game with better learning curve.
