This game was done mostly well. I like the concept of an old school arcade "shoot the screen" kind of game, but it was heavily impeded by not being able to see where my mouse cursor was. I also felt like I was fighting rotating the camera while trying to place my (invisible) mouse cursor on an enemy. I think being able to reload before you empty your clip would also help.
Having enemies come at you from the front and back is a great idea, but I think some indication to turn around would greatly improve the experience. Overall, this was pretty well done.
the final stand that I liked about was the horror theme and the level design was done well. The enemy animation and how they were running was done well like how you how sound effects for the player gun and reload. I think what could add more to the player's expertise is maybe if you added a cursor for aim so the player could see where they were shooting. Maybe have an attack animation for the enemies for more feedback but other than good job.
I always have enjoyed the kind of "last stand" types of games, so this was fun to play. The only thing that I would like to see is a crosshair of some kind. Aiming the gun felt a bit difficult but it was still manageable. Great level design and graphics.
The think the game was pretty fun, and while there were a few issues they weren't huge. Initially I wasn't a fan of how you couldn't reload while you still had bullets, but I think it added an element of strategy to the game and made it more intense. At first I was expecting the bullet to always shoot out from the middle of my screen like in most first-person shooter games, but it seemed inconsistent, so I wasn't always positioning the middle of my screen at enemies. It was a little confusing and frustrating, and I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it did add a little extra challenge which was fun, though I think a crosshair indicating where the player is shooting would help. Sometimes the NPCs would stand near me but wouldn't damage me, letting me easily defeat them. I think the visuals were nice, and I like the cutscene on the final level.
