Thank you for all your feedback! I did incorporate a lot of while loops for the mystery box and the zombie spawning so there is a fair chance that is the cause to the crashes you've experienced. If anyone here would like to see updates to this, let me know! I really loved working on this project and wanted to put more time into it than I had. I definitely would love to add more weapons, fix bugs, and maybe even more maps if there's a demand for it! Let me know!
I will definitely try to fix the soft locks, as well as the zombies not attacking, but like I said reply to this if you want to see anything else done to it!
P.S. - For those of you that crashed when you died, there is supposed to be a Game Over! type screen that appears, but I believe I know what is causing the crash before it appears.

Hunter - Great work with the sounds and UI! They're the best I've seen in all the builds I've tested. Also, thank you for figuring out how to get Unity to work with itch.io—I couldn't figure it out myself.
Moving on to the game, the combat is fantastic, and I love all the user feedback. However, my game crashed when I tried to use the mystery box. Also, the enemies can't hit you more than once. I had the same issue with my game, and to fix it, I doubled the enemies' attack range, which resolved the problem.
Overall, great work! I'll keep an eye out for your future projects
I definitely plan to fix the mystery box crash, I'm fairly positive I know how to fix it. As far as the zombies attacking when the player is within range it is supposed to use an InvokeRepeating that only stops when the player leaves range. I will definitely be looking into that as well. This game is awesome! I have a lot of nostalgia for Zombies, especially World at War (although I played it on the Wii), and I sincerely appreciate that you've included so many of the classic features. I especially appreciated the dog round, although I wish they had their own model. For critique, I couldn't quite see the zombies remaining number after a few rounds, and when I died I got a RuntimeError dialog. Have a great summer!
Thanks for your feedback! However, there is actually no dog round. I think what you're referring to is the zombies getting faster which starts at round 5. As far as the crash when you died, I will be looking into that! I'm considering adding significant updates to the game, let me know if you would be interested!
This was an awesome game and was really fun to play had to stop at round 12 because I had to get to the other games lol.
I found the mystery box not working after some point and wasn't sure why.
The zombies sometimes just cluster up on the first floor below you while you are on the second floor especially if you only buy the staircase in the second room and not the staircase in the first.
when I was in fullscreen mode for the WebGL I'd press esc to pause and it'd shoot me out of fullscreen mode it'd probably be better to have the pause button be another key on your keyboard.
This game is amazing; it's really fun to play, even with the classic map for the CoD vibe.
Critique:
Game - When interacting with the mystery box by pressing F twice, it crashes the game and soft locks it. Regarding death, I'm unsure if the game should freeze or if a 'try again' prompt should appear, but that's what happened
I will be looking into fixing both the mystery box and the crash when dying. Please let me know if you would be interested in following the game in the future, as I am considering updating it with more weapons, maps, etc.
This was an excellent game and quite fun to play! Love the 007 meets COD Zombies vibes. Wonderful work.
Some constructive critique:
Menu - The instructions panel seems to be cut off and unable to read correctly.
Game - Some of the zombies seemed to not do anything when they reached the player. You can also jump through the window and jump off the map so having some sort of blocking barrier would be helpful. Did have a crash on level 2 when I had all of the zombies around me but not sure what it was related to.
Please let me know what resolution/aspect ratio you were using so I can test it in-editor as well as re-anchor the canvas elements.
The zombies not attacking.. I actually noticed this just hours after the deadline! This occurs because the slower zombies think they've "reached their destination" so they stop moving, but they haven't moved close enough for the player to enter the trigger collider to deal damage to the player! As far as the crash you experienced, I've seen others report this as well. There is a crash that occurs when dying that I am looking into fixing.
