First of all, kudos for finishing your second game ever! That in itself is a great accomplishment, congrats!

Liked the story, I was kinda expecting the people in the rooms to attack me at some point lol but still really cool concept.

Developer

That was the original idea but I sadly didn't have anytime for that. Thanks for playing!

cool idea, would've loved some sound ! nothing really happened after doing the thing, but i like the concept

Developer

Didn't know how to make sounds play nice with animations so I had to scrap it. Thanks for playing!

Nice story. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

Developer

Thanks! I'll make time for your game, promise.

Coll story and atmosphere. The idea is very interesting but I think the two things that could have been improved a little are !) The sound design and 2) The differences in the behaviour of the people watching the TV after the "thing that you do" (to avoid spoilers).

Agree, I am working on a new project and will try to at least add some sort of sound. Thanks for playing!

Definitely a neat concept, wish there was more there in narrative but it was cool and the environment was super uncanny!

Developer

Thanks, and yeah I could have done more with the story

This game was aptly named, a little stroll through a peculiar town. The reveal that there are others watching TV all around was interesting. I enjoyed the rooms on the corner in particular--being able to see a little around the corner brings its own kind of tension, of seeing and being seen from a distance, a unique feeling in a maze. I enjoyed the change in ambience when the button was pressed and dawn was coming.

A neat little experience. Thanks for sharing your work.

Developer

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed my game!

I didn't think of this game as a horror game but a game about a story of a person who is able to see how much of their life was wasted watching television. But then I found the button and realized what it was about. I think some music while walking would make the journey to the button and back more engaging. I was spacing out at the same scenery the whole way. Great job I hope you continue to make games like these in the future.

Developer

Yeah it didn't quite work out how I thought it work and the story was different in my head than how it was interpreted. I agree music would have helped but I don't know how to make music or find free music and stuff, and I also didn't really get to that point yet in development. I'll try and work on that sooner in production next time. Thanks for playing!

Well done! I really liked the aesthetic and the story - very straightforward and told well through story elements. The ending sequence even got me startled! Keep it up!

Developer

Damn, thanks!

I like the premise of the walking simulator - it's straightforward and effective. The story of the game is told through the environment and the scale really helps the player internalise how many people are disconnected. The idea of switching off and transitioning the sky to daylight is a nice metaphor for the unsung merits of going outside. Also, Unsorted Horror looks like great inspiration and an interesting game, and I'll have to try it out as well!

Thanks for being a part of the Scream TV jam!
