At first I thought it was really stupid because I had no idea what to do. After getting locked out a few times I came here to see the comments and saw you say that the game was unplayable. It's a shame, I really liked the look and although I couldn't play it, I was really keen to see what was in store for the future. I hope you can move forward with the project. When you do, release a demo here for us.

Glad to see you liked it what you saw, I think maybe a putting a tl;dr or a bolder statement about the current state of the game might have saved some fellow jammers confusion, we’re gonna see this one out and try get a demo out when we’ve got it up and running. Thanks for checking out the game ^.^

It would be great, I tested it several times, I changed everything that I thought could have interaction, I really wanted to play more lol

- If you could check out our project, that would be amazing :)

I couldn't figure out what to do and got stuck a couple of times so I had to restart.

The artwork looks nice and the concept behind it seems really interesting, I would've loved to have seen some of it getting implemented for the jam version. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback, we’re working hard on a more polished and complete version, hoping to get a demo up as soon as possible :D

Great to see this WIP and hopefully you're able to see it shape up into where you'd like it to be, because this is showing quite a lot of promise. It reminds me of Recettear style fantasy shop management game, and it's understandable that to pull off all the systems and mechanics needed for that is very tricky in a week! I like the art and shop layout and it has that very charming SNES era vibe. One bit of constructive feedback - make sure that the tiles used for pathing line up with the tiles used for assets, so players know where they can and can't walk to. Collision can be tricky to get right! All the best and hope you're able to finish working on this cute game!

Thanks for the feedback! I was the dev that was attempting to put together the movement system and I appreciate the acknowledgement of how difficult this was to pull off. It was an absolute menace to get even slightly working.  The work my co-dev put into the art was astounding and the systems she made taught me a lot. In the end, we've got a brilliant project going forward. Look to see it soon because we really want to get this fully fleshed out.

Interesting idea, and the art looks good! Would love to see a more fleshed out version in the future! Good job!

You got it! We're working away at it and hope to show everyone very soon. Thanks for the feedback as well we both appreciate it.

Really like the visuals! But I don't really understand what to do :( Also I got stuck in the top right somehow and coulnd exit. Would love to try it again if you could explain the gameplay to me a bit more. Also is there no sound? Because I can set the settings but I don't hear anything.

Unfortunately we weren't able to submit the game in a playable state, so there isn't all that much to see sorry :c But if you're interested in the art, the game's repo is public, feel free to fork the repo if you wanna work on finishing the game yourself, or use some of the artwork we used and made (with proper references ofc), I'll also likely be posting more of my pixel art work on itch in the future. ^.^ Unfortunately uni just started back and we both got busy, and we also started late into the jam. We planned on adding audio, but it never got there. Thanks for checking on the game c:

Cute art style!I really like the game menu!but movement is a bit broken..

Developer(+3)

Thank you! I enjoyed working on the art of this project a lot ^.^ we had a lot of trouble with unity's 2d tile map system, it was hard to use to create grid like movement, might have been a bit of inexperience but we learnt a lot <3
