Neat game. The bullet SFX are very satisfying. I would have liked it if the gun shot a bit faster. The like the binding of Isaac feel to the game; works well. Art looks nice. Enemy visuals are creative. Fights are fun. It's cool having different prebuilt levels instead of the usual randomly generated
Pretty interesting and fun game mechanic with the catching. I couldn't finish it due to dying from trying to dodge all the boss' attacks but I had fun :)
Thank you for playing!
I like the sprite work a lot and the mechanics feel fairly solid, yet a little slow and clunky. The pacing of the game seems to move a little slow and I found myself zoning out a little, in a good and bad way, but I think that could be alleviated a lot just from the addition of some background music. As some others said it felt a little confined and like the levels could be more designed, as right now they just feel a bit like small spaces. Overall though there are some solid bones here, nice work!
Thank you for the feedback! We actually debated a lot about the background music. In the end, we decided to settle with something that sets up the atmosphere, although we were not quite satisfied with it .
Nice game, was a bit hard on difficulty for me ahhah, couldn't defeat the boss.
Liked the idea of it definitely unique and don't stop working on it. Nice art that could use a bit polish the death animations is cool.
I would have liked to seen more open maps cause it felt a bit cramped. Overall nice game for the jam really good done!
Nice mechanics; very satisfying to play! Love seeing more Godot games too :)
Thanks for playing! Its our first time working with Godot and i loved it :)
pretty nice game but i don't get how the catching works, overall pretty fun!
I didnt notice the capture system was not clear, but now that you said it. You are right.
Basically, you can capture the monsters after their life goes down a bit and they start to blink. After that you can thrown a ball and if they are captured is up to chance.
Thanks for playing!
