Great!
The creature actually made me jump on death, as I did not expect it to get so close up and personal :D Nice vibe, cool art style. I wish there was more to it! Has great puzzle potential.
Oh, one thing - the flashlight wasn't really useful - but I see people already pointed that out.
In case you decide to expand the game - it could work nicely as a tool to reveal hidden messages (think UV light from Phasmophobia). Also, I feel like a small map hanging by the entrance to the maze could be useful, just in case the player gets lost. But maybe that's just me, I have terrible sense of direction :D
Sweet entry!
I wish that I was able to add more to it. I'm happy with what I managed to pull out for a short period of time since I wasn't able to work on the project full time and only worked on It 3 days :D I wanted to add some simple puzzles for each lever but ran short on time. I wanted to make the flashlight blind the monster when you pointed at him, I think your idea for hidden massages is great!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback :D
Ah, no worries :D The time limit was a killer for us too. We joined the jam late and we didn't manage to fix some of the issues our game had.
Classic game jam stuff ;) As I said, great job on what you've done!
This feels like my game but much better and on steroids. Good job I fell down from my chair!
The sound design was extremely good, even with some sound effects that felt unnatural to the environment/place/setting heh. But they created a great atmosphere for the player, really intense one. I also liked that the setting wasn't just a dark maze, I quite liked this foggy aesthetic, although it did make the flashlight almost useless for me. I think my only gripe is that the mouse sensitivity was way too high for me. But other than that, it was fun. I beat the game quite fast, I probably got just lucky. Good job.
Thank you, really appreciate the feed back :) It's my first time actually including sound and music into my game, never had the time before. I agree with you due to the maze being bright the flashlight was useless. I made the maze in a way that was fast to beat since no one wants to sit there for 20 - 30 minutes running trough a maze :D
Thanks for playing!
Interesting game! Like the atmosphere. The sensitivity is pretty high and I wish the flashlight was utilized more. Some sound effects were also kind of louder than I should be.
Thank you! Agree with you there should be a slider for sensitivity and definitely one for sound and music. It was a mistake adding the flashlight on my part but it added to the ambiance so I left it in there :D
Thank you for playing!
Scary! Although, it's a shame to reveal the monster in the start screen!
A menu with volume slider would have been good.
Some sounds were suuuper loud, and gave me some jump scares :)
I had fun playing it, classic survival horror!
Fog works well with the concept. Neat game, nice horror elements with the monster around!
Really cool game. I wish there was a mouse sensitivity, but it was cool otherwise. I managed to get all the swords and escape :O. The sound was really good and the 3d was cool too :)
Nice atmosphere and definitely felt intense which was a pleasant surprise as the game is actually having a good visibility. Got lost a bit what to do when I had the levers, but overall a nice horror experience.
I like the atmosphere, the fog and the music are very cool. I donβt know if the flashlight is for something? Maybe at a later stage, but I didnβt get there. The sound of the monster is a little too loud compared to the rest, in my opinion.
The flashlight is just to add to the ambience not for anything else. The moster should be scary when the player gets spotted thats why it's loud
Thank you for playing
Oh damn, I didn't even run into the monster lo
should make the monster stop during jumpscare.
idk if the mist is too dense but you should show player how desperately long the corridor can be
You are right the monster jumpscare should be better i can definitely improve that.
I dint want to make the maze too tedious to navigate thats why the fog is dense and the hallway are short
Thank you for playing βΊ
Whew, I wish you can escape the creature once he sees you, other then that this was fun!
You can :) He stops chasing after 15 second. Thank you for playing :)
Live visual style and atmosphere is great.
Walking around maze could feel a little tedious sometimes.
Good job!
Thank you for playing! Walking around the maze should be tedious βΊ. But if you follow the left or right wall you will reach all the levers.
