I don't mind admitting that I really, really suck at puzzles xD Thank you so much for posting the guide, otherwise I wouldn't have made it out of the starting room x3 I didn't have to use the guide for everything, but I also didn't succeed cos my dinner was ready partway through playing, so I was kinda doomed to fail from the beginning >.< haha.

Anyways, the idea of having a time limit on the player solving puzzles definitely ramps up the tension!

I noticed you said in response to one of the below comments that you'll be adding more stuff once the jam is over, so I'll hopefully have the time to check it out fully then :3

I do love escape rooms, but man, I suck at them >.< I'm always bound to be the most useless team member! I can find items, that's about as far as my contributions go cos I generally have little to no aptitude for puzzle solving x3

Thank you, haha. I'm kind of the opposite when it comes to escape rooms. I can't find jack, but I can solve puzzles. Thats about it. And yeah just check follow our twitter for updates! Thanks!

Hey just wanted to let you know that we have added the "Holly" update which now includes Jump Scares and makes the game more intense. Thank you for your suggestions and feedback!

I liked the setup, but the puzzles were a bit too tricky to me. It's better to start off with REALLY easy puzzles and then work your way up, rather than starting off with something challenging. That way everyone can get used to the controls without spending too much time in one area.

I was expecting the whole game to be full off difficult puzzles. I've done a few escape rooms in my time and normally its the hard puzzles that are first. I completely understand what you are getting at. That's why we implemented a guide you can look at while playing by clicking the "?" button. Thank you for the input :D

This is a neat little game. I found the first puzzle a bit too difficult (I'm not really one for codes) but for the most part the puzzles integrated well. Aesthetics and sound design were good, but the horror factor was missing for me. I liked the music a lot and it built some tension, but ultimately wondering around in the dark going back and forth between rooms lost its creep factor after a bit. Adding a countdown for the time left (if something does happen after 20 minutes, I didn't play that long) would have increased the tension, maybe with a ticking clock and bell sound every minute or something. The premise was very interesting, and could probably have been used to greater effect. Maybe having the gas seeping in visually, or if the player interacts with it their vision is distorted or they see something creepy? Overall I liked it, very quirky and with good sound design, but with a few improvements that could be made. Good job!

Thank you! And yeah we did not have enough time to actually import some horror. Once the jam is over we will be definitely implementing some scares! I might also take-up the idea of the vision becoming blurred. Thank you for the feedback!

Hey just wanted to let you know we have actually added some horror into the game now with a few jumpscares and sounds. Hopefully this gives the game more of a horror aspect. Thanks for the feedback and we would love to hear what you think of the update!
