I like your game. The animations and control responsiveness are excellent; it even reminds me a bit of Hollow Knight. I'm surprised how you managed to create such animations in such a short amount of time. This is a very good result.

Thank you! The hollow knight feel comes from canceling the players jump when they release the jump key! An absolute must in a 2d movement controller imo

Reminds of an old game I used to play (can't remember the name, I'm getting old). Pretty cool !

Nice idea, it remember me to a really old game from 80s who was very fun, similar idea like this but with only one ball, you had to keep it on air, this one you get points in a similar way but also you get damage, I think it is a nice idea.

Very cool jumping dynamic (I dunno how to say it better). Good work on pthe layer controller, it feels really good to jump!

Thanks! The 2 main tricks are:

  • Use a curve of values for gravity, rather than just one. That way it can feel different at the takeoff, peak, fall and landing
  • Cut the jump short if player releases the button early.
