Amazing, although I get lost sometimes, I think if you indicate where the next item. For example some bells open a path but sometimes I don't know which path or I don't know what bell to ring so I get going around all the map. Maybe an indication of what bells to ring next? or maybe what path was opened? anyway it is very cool and it looks promising
Yes, I really want to make it to see the full potential, I want to add some features:
- Pressing enter to select as well as z
- Pressing back to go back as well as x
- To show the base chance after selecting a conversation + attribute multiplier
- A dice throwing to see if the conversation pass the base chance
- Add more ways to conversation in the potato case + more conversation
- Add a new case maybe... pepper case? not idea.
I would like to see a pixel art game where dice is thrown but in a simple way
Yes, I saw that bug :( I cannot fix until rating is finished, every dialog have a base_point different to succeed, and if you have a stat that has influence in that dialog, let's say, you are smart, and you say "potatos does not talk" then you were smart and you get more chance that your points succeed the base_points and get more points.
It is very engaging and the idea is really cool. Sometimes is hard to guide sometimes, maybe making it more simple with 90º movement like old snake it works better, who knows. I think if you work more in this concept it will be very fun to work with, I think a music more energic like crypt of necrodancer will work here pretty well. Very nice work in general.
Hello everyone,
let me introduce myself first. I am a programmer and I have some knowledge about game design. I didn't have time lastly, but now finally I have.
I have participated in several jams and do several games alone and with teams.
This are my old games:
Game: Thieves, it is a small World! - Team: Only me - Jam: Ludum dare 2017 - Topic: it's a small world
https://ventura.itch.io/thieves-its-a-small-world
Game: Penguin Odissey, Team: 3 people (graphic, sound, programming) , Jam: Ludum dare 42, Topic: Running out of space
https://gamejolt.com/games/penguin-odissey/360839
Game: The development of "Fo for the bread" - Team: Only me - Jam: Ludum dare 2012- Topic:Two worlds (I think.. I don't remember)
https://gamejolt.com/games/the-development-of-go-for-the-bread/41493
Game: Terminal - Team: 4 people - Jam: Global game jam 2015 - Topic:I totally forgot what was the topic... xD
https://gamejolt.com/games/terminal/73098
Anyway, I hope to find a good team mate in graphics, animation or audio that would like to do something cool and innovative. No hope for selling the game but if you want you can try to go forward, my idea is to have fun in the jam and enjoy the creativity in the team. Everybody is welcome.
Thanks!
