Nice game. Got to a score of 59 till I couldn't replicate what I did to get there and kept doing jank strategies that never got me nearly as far. The strat is too save up the lychee to shoot the webs it seems. Also, noticed a few bugs in your code. Some were big and eight legged, and I think my character ate a few of them. Altogether quite a great game.

Very nice visuals and cool sounds.

The gameplay seems to lack some progression and it is not entirely clear why you need to collect some things. But overall the concept is interesting, I especially liked the fact that you can get out of the web

And it would be cool to show the controls somehow. I only found out from the comments that you can shoot and break the web.

Thank you for playing and for all of your great feedback! We planned for and actually made a keybinding and controls screen but just didn't have time to implement it, sure wish we did!

I created the in game tutorial text the first time you pick something up as a placeholder but I know as you're trying to play it may be difficult to read the text and get the buttons.

I think I'll add controls to the description under the game for clarity.

Thank you again for playing, glad you enjoyed the visuals and sound design!

Cool, I especially like how smooth the bat movement is.

Nice! Two notes: i think the difficulty is a bit too low to remain entertaining, and the game is not localized (keyboard mapping depends on keyboard language). Great visuals and cool concept though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely wish I had time to get more accessibility features in.

The difficulty curves up significantly with score, what was your highest score out of curiosity?

Thanks for playing (:

nice game, would be nice to have a quick replay mechanic instead of having to click button with mouse

Couldn't agree more, good feedback.

Thanks for playing!

Simple game but it works. First impressions wise, the main menu isn't great since the pixel art buttons appear quite blurry. This is probably a filter mode issue (although idk what engine you use so it could just be an engine problem, etc.) However the game is still quite visually appealing and overall well made. Good work!

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, the main menu definitely needs some work, was going for a classic retro 80s dark fantasy feel but I think we went a bit hard with the filter.

Thanks for playing (:
