The game is very polished. slimly based on the theme though.
Took a little while to understand it at first. I think if you manually made sure level 1 was always like: GREEN-GREEN-RED-RED... then it could be easier to pick up.
I kept getting complex patterns and I thought I had to cut away the WHOLE sequence if it didn't match 100%.
Once i figured it out, it became a lot more fun and challenging! I really love the moon face character, although I'm not sure why he's in charge of the scissors. He's got a lot of character though. I really like the entire UI. The little icons in the stats section are cute, but a little bit confusing as to what they represent precisely. I just get that green = good, red = bad. Overall really nice game with great art and sound design. The music fits perfectly
(PS: played desktop version, had the web version glitch for lvl 2 too)
Thank you so much for such an invested comment :))
We considered an in-game tutorial for level 1 but couldn't implement it in time, I'm happy you could enjoy the game without it. The moon character represents a cell, happy when you cut mutations, he does have a great lot of character. Labels for icons are a great suggestion, and I apologize for the web version glitch; for sure needs fixing.
Super thankful for the comment!!
Really fun little game! I suck with memory stuff and patterns, so I wasn't able to do very well, but it's a super interesting take on the theme!
I’m playing in browser the second pattern is generated but not spawning :(
I'm sorry that happened :(
We're aware of the bug, but unfortunately, we couldn't pinpoint it in the timeline. It rarely occurred, and only on specific devices. Since it never happened to me and wasn't easily repeatable, we hoped it wouldn't affect others 🙏. What we can confirm is that, to the best of our knowledge, the desktop version is free of this bug. Feel free to give it a try!!
