Really simple gameplay, the maps could have used some work but really satisfying to play nonetheless!
this is the 4th game about a geometric primitive that commits genocide of its relatives...sad
The game looks really nice, and the UI looks incredible. I think the upgrades definitely need to be a little more extreme, the fact that there's an upgrade that increases your fire rate by 1% seems a little bit silly. Pretty solid though, all things considered.
The upgrades are exponential so I didn't want it to be too extreme.
Nice! The UI is very cozy. I really liled the loading. Some more camera shake would really help. Also the levels look the same. Don't undertand if there is only 3 levels or more, cause I can't move further. If there IS more levels, then minimap would really help cause the map is too big, and it is hard to find small enemies. Also, maybe more enemies?
You're correct, there are only 3 levels and the upside down L one is the bane of my existence. I didn't really give myself the time to focus on level design, so 2 of them are mediocre and the L one is, well, kinda an L. Also a minimap is a good idea, though I don't really think this idea is worth expanding ( The game not the minimap ).
This game is sooooooooo good! I love every aspect of it, the asthetics, the UI, the gameplay, the music. Its so well designed. Great game!
Debatable.
Absolutely insane, how did you manage to make all of this in 18 hours?
Love the aesthetic as well as the UI!
It was really good! Love the aesthetic of it. I think it's a bit hard to hit enemies, feels a little floaty on that part.. The juice is great, I love your dash, and the UI was way above what I usually expect for a game-jam game. Great game!
Thank you so much, I made a terrible decision and gave myself an hour to make and tune enemy AI. Also I should have made the guns shoot at the cursor instead if straight forward that probably would have fixed a-lot of stuff.
That's okay, I get that! I honestly think if you spruced up enemy AI a little, made them a little less flighty and a little more fighty, and then have the guns shoot at the cursor, it'd be a banger. It's very atomspheric and you can just zone into it, even as is.
