Very atmospheric! The grumbling noise of the eldlings is quite creepy. The ship is definitely a bit tough to control, but it seems like it would be possible to master with time. It reminds me of parts of Outer Wilds. Great work!

Developer

I am delighted that is the game it reminds you of! Thank you for trying it out and the kind words!

The feeling of oppression is really nailed. The ship is hard to control, I understand you want it to have a lot of momentum, but maybe changing the keyboard mappings ?

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I could potentially map them to encourage the use of Pitch and Yaw more (WASD), and have Roll for more critical manoeuvres only (QE).

Thank you for playing it!

The controls are very hard. The visual style is cool.

Developer(+1)

I do appreciate it is rather difficult to navigate, however it should be quite doable by tapping the keys very gently. None the less, thank you for playing!

It's really hard for me to control the ship. How far should I go to see most of the game content?

Developer

Once you get to around 8k pts, the enemy spawn gets quite difficult. If you are interested in going for a highscore, mine is 12500 pts. Otherwise I can advise to only quickly tap the controls, as that gives you the most controllability. Thank you for giving it a shot!

I really liked the atmosphere! Controlling the ship was messing with my head a little since the camera doesn't roll with it; I found that by far the easiest way to play was to ignore the roll option entirely.

Developer

Yup that was my intention, as there are scenarios where you would need to roll the ship just to fit through the gap, and then un roll yourself. I tried having the camera roll with the ship, but it became nauseating to me while playtesting so I decided to to go with the later, haha

Thought the music was great and set the atmosphere really well along with the visuals. Found the ship quite hard and frustrating to control, and wasn't sure why I kept losing to begin with (kept hitting the sides). Found spamming brake made it very easy to avoid the enemies  which worked for a long time until I encountered a really big one I failed to evade. Also wasn't sure why you would turn off the flashlight, think would be a bit better if the flashlight key was F or something closer to the rest of the controls

Developer

Hahaha it seems you met the Elderling. Thank you for giving it a shot! I will be updating the game once voting ends and should have a few more control options. The flashlight was never intended to do anything, but just added it as a little gag.
