Ranked from 11 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
I've made it so you need to listen to the sounds to escape the maze. How? Well, I've made it so you can't see anything.

Any additional information for voters?
This game requires listening to sounds to escape a maze, so remember to turn your volume up! And headphones are recommended, good luck!

I really like this concept but it felt a bit too disorienting to play.

It was hard to tell if I was hitting a wall or if I had to turn left or right. I think it might have been better as a grid based 90-degree turn type game.

I do love the idea though, and its certainly one of the more unique games, I'm not sure if its so bad its good though.

Good work!

Yeah, I do agree that it's quite hard to know where you are looking at, so I've been looking at some possible solutions for it.

Glad you like the idea, though!

What an interesting entry! Probably the first of it's kind in SBIGJam history - pretty much an audio only experience!

I tried several times but I don't think I  got to the end: I think I did get really close at times though! I think this was really creative use of the modifier, and an experience that  is unique!

Overall had a lot of fun trying it - well done!

Sorry that I am a bit late with your message, as for the entry, I'm glad you find it interesting!

I'm hoping to make it easier so people can see the ending, I definitely made the experience a bit too hard!

Thanks for playing it, though!

I love games that use more audio than graphics to give the player information as an interesting concept, but honestly I am not sure what I was doing in this game.

At first the footsteps and the beeping came from the same direction so I tried to walk around the source of footsteps, and then it sounds like the footsteps were behind me and the beeping, along with another high-frequency noise, in front of me, and then I died. Was that another monster?

Developer(+1)

To answer your question, there is only one monster.

I've had it so you also emit footsteps (because who doesn't like extra sound effects?), so it may or may not been yours.

As for the other high-frequency noise, I had forgotten to mention that those are walls, which should now be mentioned. Thanks for the feedback, though!

Really cool concept! I just wish I could have gotten a feel for the turning sensitivity in some way.
