Hello! I was missing the shark isekai: you should've went with a longer name. XD
I appreciated the twist from the normal battles, that instead of taking damage we get more fatigued, but at the end the gameplay is the same as the default one.
Unfortunately I couldn't play for too long since a bug blocked me from going healing with the big boss in my team.
If you're interested I streamed the game. here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2470506857

This is a really cute game! Not sure if it's still needs completing but I couldn't talk to the Clerk nor go anywhere after the eel fight.
Man this game is cool! Love the mechanic that stamina is you hp and you lose it by being unable to catch your pray or hiding in the rocks, instead of them attacking you. The story is really good too, and made me laugh a couple of times! "Attacking the paperwork" in a fight is priceless :D
I can't figure out where I can save though, since it doesn't work in the Undercave where you sleep (or the beach). Wanted to stop and come back to after some work.
Also, even though the graphics are simple, I think you capture a very interesting, mystical and mysterious mood. In some ways it also reminded me visually of the Jaws game on the original NES <3
Over all, I am really impressed and definitely went beyond my expectations in more ways than one.
Thank you so much!!! This was lovely to wake up to. @DeepDarkDescent had the ideas for how the battle system(s) would work and they were both SO MUCH BETTER than what I had pictured. (Filling in the paperwork was originally going to be a simple drag-and-drop puzzle.) I’m really glad you liked it <3
I had no idea there was even a JAWS game, so I looked that one up and you’re right! That’s delightful, hehe. I had a ton of fun finding (and sometimes tweaking) the assets for aesthetics and stuff, especially since we had to use a bunch of different sources but still make it look somewhat cohesive.
About the saves – the intent was that you could save anywhere via the menu. Was that not working, or did we just not make it clear in the UI? I did also want to implement some sort of autosave, but sadly ran out of time. I’m sorry about that! Will make sure to look into it for when the voting period is over.
